Counting Crows is an American rock band from Berkeley, USA. This is a covers album, but nevertheless there are some real pearls here! Favorites: "Untitled (Love Song)", "Start Again", "Mercy" and "Meet On The Ledge".

2. Dangermuffin - Olly Oxen Free (2012)
Dangermuffin is a three man band from South Carolina, USA. Only instruments are guitars and drums. The sound is very natural, no artificial elements here. No bad song on this fourth album, but favorites are "Slumber" and "Cradle Of The Beach".

3. Dodgy - Stand Upright in a Cool Place (2012)
Dodgy is a power rock/pop trio from the London area, UK. And this, their fifth album is amazing, something the band can be really proud of. One of the best album of 2012! Unbelievably good!

4. First Aid Kit - The Lion's Roar (2012)
First Aid Kit is a folk duo from Stockholm, Sweden, consists of two sisters, Johanna Söderberg and
Klara Söderberg. The album won four Swedish Grammys awards. All songs on the album are excellent! Great singing in close harmonies, which sounds fantastic! One of the best albums of 2012.

5. Hurray for the Riff Raff - Look Out Mama (2012)
Hurray for the Riff Raff is a folk blues band from New Orleans, USA. Singer, Alynda Lee Segarra, is bandleader and her expressive voice makes the album interesting. All songs are good! The only negative is the cover photo. I would rather se the singer than a guy with a gun.

6. Jimmy Herring - Subject to Change Without Notice (2012)
Jimmy Herring is a rock guitarist from North Carolina, USA. He played with Allman Brothers Band and Tedeshi Trucks Band. The music is mostly instrumental with roots in the seventies. It´s Allman Brothers again with a touch of jazz. You´ll even find some Mahavishnu Orchestra. But better sound quality. Nowadays I like songs like better: "Red Wing Special" and "Curfew" better.

7. The Shins - Port of Morrow (2012)
The Shins is an indie rock band from New Mexico, USA, but now based in Oregon. Lots of slow tempo melodic songs. Two fantastic tracks: "Simple Song" and "It's Only Life".

8. Tyrone Wells - This Love (2012)
Tyrone Wells is a singer/songwriter from Washington State, USA, now living in California. The album is mostly acoustic, voice and guitar. The sound is natural and soft. Not a bad track on the album and my favorites are "A Beautiful Place to Be", "All You Gotta Do Is Dream" and "This Love".

9. Kasey Chambers - Wreck & Ruin (2012)
Kasey Chambers is a singer-songwriter from Australia. She is singing duet with her husband, Shane Nicholson on this acoustic album. . They sing with male/female alternating vocals which makes it extra interesting. It´s a fantastic album. Favourites: "Adam and Eve" and "Have Mercy On Me".
11. Oh Laura - The Mess We Left Behind (2012)
Oh Laura is a country/pop group from Stockholm, Sweden. Front figure and singer is Frida Öhrn. The songs are extremely infectious and likable, as they were on their first album. The group knows how to produce hits! Favorites: "Prove Me Wrong", "Joni Mitchell Song" and " Waiting For Something".
