Quilt is a psychedelic pop/folk indie group from Boston, USA. The music has influences from the sixties. Very enjoyable album with a string of good songs! The first five songs are my favorites.

Kandle is an indie folk singer from British Columbia, Canada. This is heavy music! Play it loud! Two favorites here: "So bad" and "Gimme a Pill".
3. Malaya Blue - Bourbon Street (2014)

Malaya Blue is a blues group with a heavy sound and a string of good blues songs. The singer really has a good voice and there are some fantastic guitar playing! My favorites are "Bourbon Street", "Forgiveness", "Bitter moon" and "Lady Sings the Blues".
4. Indila - Mini World (2014)

Indila is a R&B singer/songwriter from Paris, France. All the lyrics are in French. This is her first album and it reached number one in the French iTunes chart. Beautful voice, often simple compositions and sparse instumentation makes the album easy to enjoy. Extra enjoyable is the first song "Dernière danse". It has a fantastic lay out: first voice and bass only, then increased instrumentation followed by heavy drums then a churchlike choir then ending with full instrumentation. Brilliant!
5. Bitter Ruin - Waves (2014)

Bitter Ruin are an English alternative Pop duo from Brighton, UK, consisting of Georgia Train (lead vocals, backing vocals, piano) and Ben Richards (lead vocals, backing vocals, guitar, piano, bass). Train and Richards draw from a variety of genres to create music which fits loosely into the category of "experimental pop". Georgia Train often sings in a surprisigly high pitch. Makes her voice stand out against most other singers. My favourites are "Diggers", "Love Gone Left", "Tom Thumb" and "Leather For Hell".
